Mt Spokane rises abruptly above the vast Spokane River Valley, offering 360-degree views of four different states/provinces and at 5,883ft is one of the tallest mountains east of the Cascades in Washington. The mountain itself is surrounded by a beautiful state park and is the most prominent peak on the southwestern side of the Selkirk Mountain Range which runs more than 300 miles to the north. A large network of single track trails and abandoned roads are maintained by the park for use by hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders--these fun and challenging trails provide a great venue for the race. Why run anywhere else?
